Hasta La Raíz
"Hasta la Raíz" is a historical drama set in 1856 in Tovaangar (greater Los Angeles basin) and follows Cecilia, a Gabrielino (Tongva) woman working as a servant at a Mexican rancho. A squatter threatening the land sees Cecilia alone and attempts to assault her. Determined to free herself and protect her daughter, Cecilia fights back.
