
ABOUT
Helen Neppl is a production designer based in Los Angeles and Chicago. She graduated summa cum laude from Chapman University's Dodge College of Film and Media Arts in 2024, earning a BFA in Film Production with an emphasis in Production Design and a minor in History.
Recently, she worked on the art department as Prop Master on the indie feature film "Greg's Going to Rehab" in 2024, shooting on location in St. Louis, MO.
Beyond production design, Helen has work experience in other areas of the media and entertainment industry. In 2022, she worked as a summer intern in Multimedia for Sidley Austin, LLP, where she was a photographer for firm events, a key crew member on internal and pro bono video productions, and responsible for an ID photo audit of the firm's 4,000+ employees worldwide. In 2023, she worked as a summer intern for the Student World Impact Film Festival, for which she was a festival judge and provided feedback on student films from all around the world.
She graduated from Glenbrook South High School in 2020, where she held leadership positions including station manager of GBS TV, Executive Producer of The Glenbrook South Report, and social media manager for the school's theatre department. As of November 2024, Helen is currently working as a long-term substitute teacher for the TV & Film program at Glenbrook South.
